The Experimental Drug Development Centre (EDDC), Singapore’s national platform for drug discovery and development hosted by the Agency for Science, Technology and Research (A*STAR) is collaborating with Sprint Bioscience, a Swedish biotech company focused on preclinical discovery and development of small molecule first-in-class programmes, with oncology as a key therapeutic area.
In this collaboration, EDDC will evaluate the potential for one of Sprint Bioscience’s internal programmes to be expanded into inflammatory and autoimmune disease indications. This partnership combines the extensive work that Sprint Bioscience has already done through its fragment-based drug discovery capabilities and small molecule drug development know-how with EDDC’s translational experience and growing expertise in inflammation and immunology, to address current unmet needs in this disease area.
